Hello everyone! Thanks for coming to check our website. This is the first blog from Belonging Beyond Borders and we are delighted to update you guys further from now on. Our blogs will cover a variety of topics and address common issues third culture kids face, or concerns people feel in the global world today. 

This organization is led by four girls who understand the significance of having somewhere to belong. All of us in some ways experienced living in different countries, moving to different schools, learning different languages, and feeling the pressure of being “new” somewhere. It is extremely hard to adapt to a new environment. Four of us consider multiple places as our home and not just one. Sometimes it might feel like you are detached from a location, but the memories never fade. The friends you’ve made there, the experience and opportunities you received in that particular location. All of it is what makes you “you”, and what forms your identity. 

It is confusing, challenging, and painful when you are lost, but “Belonging Beyond Borders” is here to guide you through that.  

The next blog will delve deeper into each of the girls’ stories and why we ended up here.
